Flexible Bangle made of stingray leather. Endings refined with angel wing like caps made of pink gold plated sterling silver.

Information about stingray leather:

The stingray is not a protected species. The stingray skins are naturally covered with placoid scales, that look like tightly arranged caviar pearls. We use the leather from the back section of the stingray. In the centre of the back part the structure of the leather is coarser than in other parts. This is the so called “eye”. For easier processing and in order to obtain higher quality, the leather is ground down after the dying process to make it softer and smoother.

We obtain the stingray skin from Italy. The stingrays are not only caught for to their special skin, they also are a culinary delight.
